We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.
New patient registrations
All newly registered patients will be asked to complete a lifestyle questionnaire.
If a new patient is on regular repeat medication, they will be asked to book an appointment to see a member of the practice team for a health check, before being registered. The health check gives us the opportunity to meet you and your family, and tell you about the practice.
Family planning
Family planning advice is available from our doctors, who will discuss contraceptive methods and advise on related problems. Cervical smears and Well Woman examinations are undertaken by appointment.

Well person clinic
We encourage all our patients to share the responsibility for their health, both in preventing disease and in treating existing conditions. Please feel free to discuss your general health and ask for advice on the following- smoking, diet, exercise, blood pressure and cholesterol testing.
Breast examination
It is a good idea for all women to examine their breasts regularly for lumps. If you are not sure how to do this, your doctor will be happy to show you. If you should notice any lumps in your breasts, please see your doctor. Most lumps are benign but it is important to exclude anything serious.
Cervical smear test
Cancer of the cervix can be prevented and all female patients between the ages of 25 and 65 are advised to have a regular smear test. This is important because it can detect early signs of the disease, which is easily treated. We operate a ‘call and recall’ system to remind you about the test and suggest that you have one every three years. It is best performed between periods (14 days from day 1 of your last period) and will be carried out by the practice nurse or a doctor, by appointment.
Diabetes
All diabetic patients are encouraged to attend for an annual review.
Asthma
All Asthmatic patients are encouraged to attend annually for a full review.
