Appointments
Routine Appointments
You can make a routine appointment the following ways:
- By visiting our Consulting Room
- By calling the practice on 020 8440 9301
- By visiting the practice
Urgent Appointments
There is an Urgent Surgery every day run by that day’s Duty Doctor, who will be available to deal with emergencies on the day.
To make an urgent appointment, please call us on 020 8440 9301 after 08:00am Monday to Friday.
Urgent appointments are released every day (Monday to Friday) excluding Bank Holidays.
An urgent appointment is for something which has developed suddenly eg sore throat, urine infection.
Morning Appointments
Please contact the surgery by telephone or in person, on the day, between 08:00 and 10:30, when an appointment time will be allocated to you. Please be aware that your appointment will be after 09:00.
Afternoon Appointments
Please telephone the surgery at 15:30 for an afternoon appointment.
Patients should be prepared to wait some time for an urgent appointment, as they are always busy, particularly on a Monday morning.
Non Urgent (Routine) Appointments
Please try to give as much notice as possible. Please do not blame the receptionists if a doctor is running late for your appointment or if they are unable to offer you exactly what you want.
Our appointment times are split between the doctors, as they are not all in attendance in surgery for each surgery ‘slot’. They may be on home-visits, conducting other clinics on the surgery premises or doing other work for the benefit of the practice.
Due to study leave and holidays, there may be one doctor absent from the surgery at any time.
A fully computerised appointment system is operated and whenever possible, you will be given an appointment to suit you, with the doctor of your choice. Routine appointments can be booked in advance, subject to change.
Extended Hours
The surgery now opens between 07:00 and 08:00 on a Monday; and from 08:00 and 11:00 on a Saturday for routine booked appointments, which are bookable in advance. These times can be subject to change.
